Hopi Ear Candles
This treatment is thought to date back to 2500BC although there is little documented evidence. One of the first records is a pictograph painted in an ancient cave in the Grand Canyon.
The modern ear candles that we see today are generally refined versions of those used over the centuries and not exactly candles as we know them, as they are not solid & do not contain a wick!
Ear candling is most often used today for the physiological reactions it can stimulate in the ear, nose, throat & head regions.
At Tao we offer a basic 30-minute treatment or a more relaxing 45-minute treatment with a Facial massage that includes pressure points and drainage movements. This ensures that you will get the best result from your ear candling experience. On your first appointment a consultation would be required so that the treatment can be explained fully and any questions answered.
